The most famous place to stay in Marrakech is the Mamounia Palace. Even though the Buildings history goes back to the 12th century it opened it’s door to travelers in 1923 with only 50 rooms. “It is the most lovely spot in the whole world” declared Winston Churchill to Franklin Roosevelt in 1943 when visiting the Mamounia before the Palace was extended to 100 rooms in 1946 and finally 210 rooms in 2009. Today la Mamounia is a true monument combining the traditional Moroccan architecture with the Art Deco style. The Palace hosts a beautiful SPA including this pool which is perfect for a refreshing dive in the morning or afternoon. Any of you already visited Marrakech? What’s your favorite place in the city?
