Tamo CrossI love swimming in the sea and while staying in the Maldives I was able to swim around between some Islands as a couple of them were really close by, like here in this pictures. Curious fact in October 2009 the world’s first underwater cabinet meeting was held in the maldives to raise awareness of the problem this Island Nation is facing due to it’s average elevation level of only 1,5m. Did you know that the Maldives spans a total of 1199 islands of which only 202 are inhabited and they are getting less and less due to rising sea levels? Scary, right ?🏖
