But “consuming” responsibly is a part of this opportunity and when it comes to the Maldives, I did some reading about ressources and how it’s actually possible to have all kinds of food, housing, shower, drinks, electricity on those little island resorts that make it a paradise like experiene. To cut it short it requires 500l of water per tourist per day while for every tourist ~ 3,5kg of waste is produced also per day. The first step to change is awareness. Up to us to consume in a conscious way
