Temperatures significantly below zero are not very often measured in Paris. But when it gets really cold and you still want to go outside, you need to be prepared! A while ago I visited Moscow and brought back a Ushanka which means “ear flap hat” in Russian. Most commonly they are called “Chapka” which means “hat” and I can say that it’s a pretty nice accessory to have in the cold as it keeps your head and ears hot!
