Tamo CrossHave you ever been to the grand Canyon in the USA? If you have you know that feeling of grandeur when you are standing at the edge. In Oman there are different Canyons, even one they call the Grand Canyon of the Middle East (in the Al Akhdar Mountain Range). But when we were driving towards the city Salalah in the south west of Oman we came by this view point. Standing on the top you can see the landscape that has been formed for thousands of years by erosion, down through the valley and even until the sea. And in less than an hour you can be at the beach. Even though I enjoyed the Grand Canyon in the USA, I think having the beach so close is really making me like this one better. Go for some hiking and then for a swim. Hard to beat, no?
