Tamo CrossMost visitors to French Polinesia land in Tahiti / Papeete and quickly take a flight to islands like Bora Bora, Moorea or the Atolls, but the island of Tahiti has also some great spots to discover. If you are into hiking and like outdoor sports the you should definetly hike to some of the Waterfalls. Either go to the Fautaua valley (for the sporty ones) or the Faarumai Waterfalls (this picture, very easy to get to even with Kids).⠀
