When in Cape Town you will at one point see this building and ask yourself: What’s that saucer doing there ! ⠀⠀

The building you can see on the picture is the Green point stadium that was build for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. 68.000 Seats, 59 gates, 115 entry turnstiles, 530 toilets, 16 lifts, 4 TV Studios and a jail ! Several individuals and groups have called for the stadium to be demolished due to its under-utilization after the World Cup. Effective utilization and use of the stadium is actually quite a political issue in the city. Good thing there is so much more to see… ⠀⠀
